Even with the most complex neutral creatures, it's easier to cope than with an average player, provided you assess the situation adequately.

To defeat a player, you must first defeat the neutral creatures. The faster and more efficiently you deal with them, the higher your chances of success. For example, someone might be able to take the Conservatory on day 121, while someone else can only take it on day 125. And the one who took it on day 121 can then take Utopia on day 125, gaining tempo and winning the game. It's strange that I even have to explain this.
