Sanctuary – “Life in death and death in life” [Campaign 4 – Mission 4]

In the first 2 weeks, I cleared my lower corner of the map; Phoenixes helped. Then, I went to the top and captured another city, defeating one demon opponent along the way. Then, I headed to Ashwick. Thanks to magic, I defeated one demon hero there and rebuilt the castle, but on the last day, my forces were very weak, and then two more demon heroes arrived with sizable armies. Especially the first one, it seems like a lord. I tried to defeat him in an open field three times, but it didn't work. I had to wait in the castle. And then I had to seriously think about magic because what I had wasn't enough. In the end, I found a winning combination. We place Light Elementals near archers; demons don't destroy them on the first turn. Then, we cast Stone Skin on them – 84% protection from physical damage – and we use a healing unit to heal them. On the next turn, we cast Light Magic on them – massive reflection of incoming damage to attackers. Then, we sit and wait for the demons to kill themselves. :)
