It's strange that something was written here about Gorgons.
Simple strategy:
1. Without morale - with a group of Lizardmen, we close in with single Gnolls.
We lead the cows back and forth with a Harpy.
2. For SOD (Stronghold of the Damned) - also with a group of Lizardmen, we take Gnolls, close in with single Harpies in a corner (so that both stacks are not visible), and lead the cows with two Harpies. If morale appears, then depending on the situation, either we give away the single Harpies or try to distract with what remains. Using a similar strategy, we take the Dweller of the Depths without losses (in Warlord Tower or with an anti-morale artifact); in a regular SOD, it's not worth it without a specific need. Also, in SOD, you need to choose a good hero. A Barbarian, a Wanderer, or a Mage with the necessary spells; then even morale won't be so scary.
