What can I say? When your opponent has all 4 Castles by the beginning of the second week, plus a hidden Dungeon and Dark Champions, it becomes clear that your chances are slim. I tried not to fall too far behind, but the paths turned out to be simply terrible. From the Castle, there are three trenches that don't intersect with each other. Each one has a Phoenix hidden inside. The portal system isn't great either - the yellow one-way portal is still decent - it successfully returned me to the Castle along the route, the two-way green portal moved me to a dead end in the far right trench (simply wonderful:)), and the one-way green portal sent me slightly to the right of the main Castle, which was also unfortunate. The first artifact gave me 1 Imp, which further demoralized me, and a scroll of Dispel (not a Dispel spell O_o). The second artifact gave me a pair of Imps + 2 Phoenixes, but by the time I got it, it was already the middle of the second week. I wasn't too far behind in terms of army, maybe one turn. But in everything else... in general, the opponent had a full house, culminating in the Guardian Robe on the Tactician.
Thanks for the game:) Havr's report
Havr (Death) def Zybr (Nature), Bizarro, 1.4.6
The artifacts were very generous. Although I had to buy paths to a couple of nearby Castles, I could easily reach them afterwards. A random Chaos Castle, with two Dungeon entrances nearby. I take this Castle on the first day, and buy a Mage there (in addition to the existing Tactician and Ninja). On the second day, I capture an artifact, which gives me +9 mana . But in the cactus under the artifact, there are gloves. On the 3rd day, I take my native secondary Castle, and buy a Necromancer there, hoping to make him a righteous hero. I did make him one, but in the middle of the 3rd week, I detached him as a burden. Imps and Thieves easily free the prisoners (on the 1st and 2nd days, the lords, on the 4th - the expert). Moreover, near the location of the Expert, there is a magic library, and it has Nature. There's no other option. On the 5th day, I gathered my army near the central Castle, added a couple of Venomoths, and went to the 4th Castle. The road there isn't the shortest, but along the way, I encountered artifacts . Plus, I found a Venomoth dwelling, and now there are 5 of them. On the 6th day, I take the 4th Castle, and on the 7th day, the Champions' dwelling falls, and the game begins . I didn't detach the Venomoths, because they were only a couple of moves slower than the Champions without a stable. The clearing went quite well, especially since I already had a Grand Griffon on 1.2.1. That's when the Champions' dwelling fell, just in case. Then everything is simple - we run around, as much as possible with artifacts, capture valuable things, and destroy cacti. At first, they gave me all sorts of junk, but often there were small ones with +14 movement, which further increased mobility. And that's good, because this was my first completed Bizarro game, and I probably wasn't running optimally. In all the battles, I only fought poorly in the upper utopia (lost 1 Devil) and in the lower utopia (lost 1 Champion). I finished the planned clearing on 1.4.1 and went to the opponent through the lower opened path. I took both Castles, and upgraded the Chaos hero there (there were no Dispel or Cloud in the native ones, but I found them ), and then the opponent arrived. Final battle. I have: 4 Champions, 7 Champions, 21 Devils, Warlord 21 (Tactics 5555, Defense 146, Guardian Robe, Regeneration Armor), Demonologist 21 (Grand Master of Nature, Grand Master of Death, Defense 108, Summon 8 Devils), Ninja ~17 (Master of Death), Fire Elemental ~16 (Chaos 5553). I had a shield against Nature, morale 7/12, luck 4/9. The opponent has: 10 Phoenixes, 2 Manticores, 12 Gargoyles, Grand Master of Life, Grand Master of Nature, Tactician, Ranger - Master of Nature. Actually, the opponent's Tactician and Grand Master of Nature didn't have Immolate, so the final battle didn't happen - they died immediately from the Champions and Devils, respectively.
