I agree with Tanya Max. According to the rules, they should be penalized. It seems like people wanted to play, so what compromises are we talking about?

P.S. We need to encourage active players and penalize passive ones, because if they advance further, the same problems with deadlines will arise again. They are just prolonging the tournament.
