I mentioned months just in case – as advice to play not for 2-3 years, but rather for 2-3 months. By the way, on this map, the growth is really significant; after defeating the barons, I couldn't defeat all the neutrals, and the main ones often had over a thousand units. So, it would have been worth rushing.
