HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

I don't know if it's allowed to ask questions that have probably already been asked, but since I couldn't find anything on the topic, I'll ask: 1) Will the game work normally if I have the patch installed, but my opponent doesn't? 2) I saw a very interesting option for choosing heroes in the tavern. How do I disable it? Will it work if the opponent doesn't have this patch? 3) Does this patch change anything in terms of template generation? I set it up on Tuesday, the default is selected in the patch window, and I set up Spider in the game, but it generated a VERY rich Spider map (the zones are the same, but there is clearly more content than usual, and I always play on Spider).
