Developing a Knight hero from the Haven faction.

I leveled up reinforcements up to level 2. Seraphs weren't useful, they were too expensive. I leveled up many summons to gather blood/tears faster, taking cooldowns into account. I cast all the spells I could, even when it wasn't necessary. Magic - only healing (if it's a warrior, there's not enough mana).
