God or evolution?

I also really enjoy reading about how humans will burn in hell for gluttony, lust, and other sins (meaning we will all be there), while God is merciful, hallelujah!

If you realize your wrongdoing, the incorrectness of your actions, and your desire to change, you can repent. Those who consciously do evil burn in hell.

Besides, when talking about the church and its canons...
It was all invented by people. God gave two commandments, and everything else was invented by people. Even the Bible cannot be the absolute truth, because it was written by people. Yes, by the apostles, disciples of Christ, but still by people. And as we know, people are prone to making mistakes.
There are enough monotheistic religions in the world. And within Christianity itself, there are so many branches.
But God was one. It's foolish to think that only your faith, or a variation of that faith, is the original and correct one.
