In which version of Heroes is the music (battle, town, overworld, victory, defeat) the best?

In the first part, I don't like the music. In the second part, there are good motifs, but the arrangement... The third part is the golden mean. Perfectly fitting music in a beautiful arrangement. The fourth part is controversial. I don't really like the city themes (Haven and Sylvan are still okay), but the ambient music is the best in the series overall. No wonder the developers of this game were going to release a disc with just the music. The fifth part, I don't like it at all. It's just not my style, I guess. Although the music for the deserts is quite interesting. The sixth part revealed the potential of the second part and added its own portion of excellent music. And, although it's not on topic, I'll say that I like the music from "The Mandate of Heaven," especially "Sunlit Snow Journey" and "Moonlit Snow Journey" - they are unparalleled.
