Races in Heroes 5.

I prefer elves; they have good stats for both early and late game. They also have a good racial ability. In general, I prefer playing defensively, and elves are the perfect race for that. As for mages, I agree that the mini-units are very expensive. In my mod, I reduced their cost by 2.5 times, and it seems to make playing as them more interesting.
