I like how Ment, after the vague and hazy speculations of the second day, shifted to a purposeful and focused defense of Ryska. Yes, perhaps Payley was blocked by greed, as he's a miser. What is he doing there? Stealing or simply "acquiring"? If he's stealing, then it's clear why there's no obvious night kill from a mafia blocker. And if he's "using" it, the description of Payley's state can be compared to the block from last night.

Obviously, the poor guy was beaten by a pimp gang and subjected to a curfew by a military general. Last night, the ubiquitous military were also blocking someone.
