I watched two American Westerns almost back-to-back. "3:10 to Yuma." I had heard about it before, but I didn't watch it. And when I finally did, I was deeply moved. Russell Crowe played a villain who suddenly developed a conscience. Christian Bale played a loser who, out of desperation and poverty, found courage. The film's ending is heavy, but they both remained human. One of the strongest acting duos. The final scene of the film is great. Ben Wade will probably fight again. The second Western was a mess. Cowboys vs. aliens. I would say it's a mysterious phrase from our forum, "Don't look at the sky" (I don't know what it means in the original, but it sounds cool). But damn, Harrison Ford is in it. The aging Han Solo is still awesome and manages to elevate the overall simplistic film.
