The Conflux on such maps is not viable in a normal game, as the tempo doesn't matter much here, and seriously relying on a Castle where the main force is a stack of blue fairies is laughable. You can try to overwhelm with magic, but for example, if the Rampart player builds double (which is very possible), then there's already a health point advantage, which, in my opinion, cannot be compensated.
