It's not a given that there are two Mafia members. The Town could have killed one of them tonight.

I don't think so, one of the dead was definitely a Town member (I don't remember his name and I'm too lazy to look it up), and the second dead person seems to have had a Night Detective check, so I doubt the Mafia killed the Maniac.
