- Comparison of creatures from Heroes 5 with creatures in Heroes 3.
The original game is sacred. The way the units were depicted there – may everyone strive to do the same. In the original game, all creatures looked like they belonged. They couldn't be separate from each other; the race was monolithic. But in the fifth game, the individual unit pictures turned out well, but they don't seem connected to each other. It's beautiful there, and it's beautiful here, but together, it's a mishmash. Yes, many of the fifth game's units look better, but titans, gargoyles, and djinns don't look like creatures from the same city. And then there are the goblins with arquebuses. Consider this my personal opinion, but in the fifth game, the individual beauty of the units was achieved by sacrificing the unified concept of the race.
