“Who is stronger?” – Evil versus Good.

I have 2 questions:
Why mod 4.18? Version 5.0b is more than playable without glitches, and the humans and necromancers are balanced there. I suggest using it!
And there are many questions about the draw. I assume that the pairings were determined at the discretion of the organizer, which is complete nonsense. The draw should be completely random, in my opinion.
I ask the experienced players to share their opinions on my questions. It's clear in advance what it's like with the "kindergarten" – they just want simple games in the sandbox.

Version 4.18 is currently optimal for the tournament (as it avoids unsolvable problems in the game). We will introduce version 5.0 as soon as it is properly tested (I think it won't take much time).
The draw was not at the discretion of the organizers. The basis was the HeroesLeague rating according to the standard, since the rating on this site has not been updated for a long time and is outdated. Each group was divided into 2 parts:
- players with a rating from 1st to 15th place
- the remaining players.
Within these groups, the draw was made using a random number generator, and the color of the player in the pair was also determined by lot...
