Slonysh once wrote to me about the closed registration, but I didn't reply because there's little point in discussing something like that in a private message.
So, I'm replying now.
The point is that with normal, open registration, everyone has access to the game. That is, absolutely any user can submit an application for registration. Whether they succeed or not is another question. The problem is that with closed registration, only the GMs' favorite players can play, not everyone. Considering that the events on the forum are held for all users (including Mafia), this is not right. I asked several regularly playing players who didn't participate in the game if they received invitations, and they said no (what about the less frequent guests in this section?). Is that right? On an open forum.

Spending the night with a pillow by the monitor and guarding the start of the game in the hope of being able to register in time is not very convenient, at least for me.

Registration rarely takes only a couple of hours; more often, it lasts for several days. There's plenty of time.

Those who spend all day on the forum, that is, don't work or study, that is, are lazy, that is, don't have high intelligence, therefore, have the least right to priority registration in an intellectual game.

In general, this could be taken as an insult. But never mind, I'm not malicious; I'm just stating a fact.
In response to this, not entirely fair argument, one could say that those who spend all day on the forum, that is, don't work or study, that is, are lazy, have time to spend enough time on the game and play actively, while "intellectuals" will write something in a day, and even then, it's a good thing if the homework is submitted on time. I'm not trying to offend anyone; I'm just drawing an analogy.
