I actually think that out of all the fantasy races, the most RUSSIAN one is the Dwarves.

Well, it's simply because Vikings and Slavs are very similar, like two peas in a pod, except that Vikings had a greater role as leaders; by the way, some Slavs from the Baltic coast even raided the Swedes quite a bit! :)

And the idea for Necropolis is good! By the way, I completely forgot about them in my post:(
I would definitely place them in a desert, not in some kind of black lands that don't exist in nature – a dead city in the desert... sand blows over the bones, and then the bones start to move... Awesome!
