Now the Chinese organizer comes out and says that most Chinese players would have done the same thing that Lowk did (see the sticky here /topic/8361/. If what he said is true, then most of Chinese players have no respect for Russian players...
So this is when it suddenly hit me: that is so true!!!...After KK beat GOD, the Chinese message board was flooded with messages that belittle the Russian player:
"He plays like he is playing against the computer."
"KK won without any trouble."
"How can the Russians send someone of this caliber."
"We need to give them advice on how to play against humans."
"Their hero has 8 skills, funny."
"He has his mind set on beehives and artifacts and Dragon Utopia, that is so single-player mode."
"All the Russians care about is honor, unlike us Chinese, we have tricks and we are smart."
So I am going to say this once for all, this will be my last post regarding this Russia-China match:
My comrades, if you want to keep improving and be really good, you have to be open minded and you cannot be too proud. This is the exact reason that the Chinese, once a world-dominating power, fell behind, and we haven't caught up with the leading ones yet.
If I respect my opponent, when he disconnects, but he provides proof that he did not purposely do so, I ask him to save and we load his save. It's a standard "(P) implies (Q) ---> not (Q) implies not (P)" analogy: Lowk doesn't allow his opponent to do that, therefore, Lowk doesn't respect his opponent as a player.
