Overall, since there is such confusion, and I am partly to blame for it (/post/508349/), let me clarify: 1) Jay R has immunity to block, i.e., his attack cannot be blocked. When attempting to block his attack, the block is not recorded in the newspaper. 2) Demi initially has an attack, so blocking her attack is not recorded. 3) Mana block is not recorded. I will give you time to sort this out until evening. At 6 PM, or at worst, by 7 PM, I will close the day.
