Necropolis – “Misfortune never comes alone” [Campaign 2 – Mission 1]

HELP
I can't even get past the very beginning (Necropolis - "Misfortune Never Comes Alone" [Campaign 2 - Mission 1]).
I can't defeat the guy because he has a deadly army, and I only have weaklings.
What should I do?
It's simply impossible to assemble a decent army; at least, I don't see a way to do it.
Just skip turns and wait for an army to gather? IMPOSSIBLE.

I have the same problem. Difficulty level - easy.
My first attempt to complete this map:
I run around, collect all the resources, clear the map of monsters, and capture all the mines and artifacts.
Result: I fail to capture the first castle (after going through the dungeon). The Inquisitor's army is too strong.

My second attempt to complete this map:
The fastest rush possible, raising an army from graveyards, not collecting resources, not spending the army on monsters.
Result: I manage to capture the first castle (after going through the dungeon), but only 10% of the original creatures remain. On the very next turn (after opening the 2nd gate), I get completely destroyed.

Question: how do I actually complete this map?
