In the final battle, I had 3 angels left, while my opponent had 28 unupgraded dendroid soldiers that simply could not catch my angels, since I had an artifact against morale... in short, I was lucky that the opponent attacked me and had to flee empty-handed. In the end, the remaining 3 angels decided the game.

My army power and battle stats were stronger, but the bolt was hitting for 18 grand each time. The mistake was that I did not expect a setup from an anti-morale artifact. I thought Expert Leadership would crush the opponent given the advantage in meat power and having Haste... After the Fireball, I fought for quite a while longer with the remaining scraps of an army made of various rabble. I fought the opponent's angels and magic twice more, repositioning and splitting in hopes of resistance from dwarves and unicorns, but in this game it triggered only 1 time out of roughly 15 possible attempts. I could have pulled through on a thin thread and perseverance, but it didn't work out.
