Heroes 6 - Discussion

It's strange, these missions are called "No Country for Orcs" and "Dawn on All Sides" (I'm not sure about the other missions either, I haven't gotten to them yet, but some of them match). What version of the game do you have?

The original English version. I translated the titles "Circumradiant Down" and "No Country for Orc Friends" myself when writing this post. In general, Buka has not changed its tradition of poor game translations, which is why the translation of Heroes 6 turned out to be mostly like that. Some gems like "Pleasant Valley" and "White Cap" (which is also a reference) are worth mentioning.

As for these specific titles, I considered "Dawn Everywhere" to be more concise than "Dawn on All Sides." "No Country for Orc Friends" is an allusion to the film "No Country for Old Men," which is traditionally translated into Russian as "There's No Place for Old Men Here." I also have no idea why Buka replaced "orc friends" (because it refers specifically to Sandor, who had to flee from the Duchy of the Griffin) with "orcs."
