Has anyone encountered this:
During the game installation, the installation fails on the data2.cab file and reports that it will not continue installing. The disc is a licensed jewel case. I disabled the antivirus.

I'm not sure, but I remember having the same problem when installing the fifth installment. The thing is that .cab is an archive type like zip or rar, but much less common. Therefore, not every archiver installed by default on your computer will unpack it. Try downloading and installing a program that can unpack .cab files.
I say again, I'm not 100% sure, but I encountered this in the fifth game.
