HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

The autosave feature in the text file can be turned on or off, just like everything else.

The issue isn't about turning autosaves on or off, but rather about allowing 2 or 3 autosaves to remain even when they are turned off, as in Heroes 4 or Heroes 5. Alternatively, instead of turning them off completely, an option could be added to the settings (*.ini file) to automatically delete all autosaves except for the 2-3 most recent ones. This wouldn't affect gameplay, but it would significantly improve convenience. I hope it wouldn't be too difficult to implement.
