Questions about the gameplay of Heroes 6.

Hello everyone. Finally, after three days of struggling, the heroes are working. Thanks to those who helped. Question about the gameplay:
How can I arrange troops before a battle (e.g., like in Heroes 5)?

Learn the "Tactics" skill. Without it, it doesn't seem possible. At least, I don't see any logical connection between the position of troops in stacks and their actual appearance on the battlefield.
