I encountered the following problem: the game is severely lagging. Instead of smooth actions, there are stutters, which makes it very unpleasant to watch and sometimes impossible to play. At first, I thought it was due to the system requirements, but no, my GeForce GT 220 and 4GB of RAM are more than enough for the game. I tried lowering the graphics settings to the minimum, but there was absolutely no difference. I noticed that if I don't move the cursor at all, the game "comes to life" – the units move smoothly, and there are no lags at all. But as soon as I make even the slightest mouse movement, there is a flurry of stutters and lags. What is the problem? I updated the drivers for my video card and DirectX, and I have patch 1.1.1 installed.
