The second victim was Arandor. He was found dead in his room. Arandor, like Neyra, died of asphyxiation, but the uniform, arc-shaped, violet-blue mark on his neck clearly indicated a violent death. There were also numerous signs of a struggle: broken furniture, bruises, and abrasions on the victim's body. In addition, the deceased had a wound on his leg. Apparently, the killer initially tried to quickly eliminate the chosen target with a firearm, but Arandor managed to close the distance, and his opponent had to work harder in hand-to-hand combat. On the other hand, by closing the distance, the victim significantly reduced his chances of survival. If he had dodged and then forced the killer into a shootout, the outcome might have been different – Arandor's weapon was much more powerful. Notably, there are fingerprints on one of the wine bottles in the minibar, small ones, most likely female, and ash from a cigar on the doorstep. The gunpowder particles around the gunshot wound indicate that the weapon did not have a silencer.
