Yes, that's right. In the beta and demo, it was like in Heroes 5. They removed it at the request of the fans.

Oh, crap. I was just going to say that it was great in the fifth game – when the hero ran up and attacked a unit with his sword. In the sixth game, there's just a sword icon.
What kind of strange fans are these??? They should have asked us instead.
