I'm not hiding behind anything. I already explained my initial motives above. Now I'm just demonstrating that, even from the perspective of the rules, the correct actions were taken.
The same thing could have happened in the workshop, except without a poll. The fact that you created a separate thread doesn't change that.

The system is supposed to be shared. All GMs use it. Besides, you already have experience running games, so the urgent need to create a thread is even more unclear. You seemed to manage without it before.
