Heroes 6 - Discussion

Thank you. I tried reinstalling the game and manually downloading the patch. The same error persists. I heard that you can copy a ready-made patch to a flash drive and then directly to the game folder. Is that a reasonable approach? And is this error caused by the game or my computer? And my last question, if I start playing on the current version now, and later possibly reinstall the system, will all my progress and achievements remain the same?
