And if you don't want to play as Barbarians (Orcs in this case)? It's a failure.

I don't understand either; even playing as Humans or Necropolis, battles don't last more than 15 minutes (and that's against huge armies).

In addition to this, the game has mediocre and overly pompous graphics.

The graphics are great, unlike the cartoonish fifth installment and the 2D third installment, etc.

That's always the case; in the beginning, it was impossible to play the second installment of "Shogun" and the fifth installment of "Civilization" properly; now everything has been fixed.

The attacking magic is indeed terrible, but the overall magic is simply a lifesaver; that's why I play almost exclusively as mages.
