Which is better, attacking or defending?

Well, I always choose attack and defense, and there's really nothing to debate here – defense is better. You can always take down an opponent, but how do you counter an opponent with a larger army? The answer is defense, which also helps preserve as many creatures as possible in battle. Attack gives a 5%, 10%, or 15% damage increase, while defense provides twice as much – a 10%, 20%, or 30% damage reduction.
