The Strider is a heavily armored combat synthetic robot. This biomechanical walking machine consists of an armored hull – a fuselage – and a chassis with three articulated stabilizer legs. Its armament includes a nose-mounted turret with an installed pulse weapon and a suspended compactification cannon – a space annihilator, which first condenses the atmosphere in the firing zone and then sharply discharges it to zero (this is what causes the annihilation of matter). The Strider's legs are very sharp and are used to destroy nearby targets.
Striders are used individually for patrolling and supporting groups of soldiers. In large-scale combat operations, several Striders are used at once. Striders can destroy entire buildings to eliminate enemies hiding inside, and then simply step over the resulting ruins. Striders can also crouch to pass through low tunnels. Transporters are used to deliver Striders to distant territories.
