Please correct me if I'm wrong, but tanks in games are used for attack, while all sorts of defensive structures are used for defense, not counting combat units.
I wouldn't say so; a lean unit can defend itself better.
I respect your point of view, but if you'll allow me to point out: "thin" is not synonymous with "lean." Although I have sometimes encountered such interpretations, mostly coming from thin people themselves, perhaps intended to justify what seems to be a deficiency, i.e., "physical frailty."
