As I understand it, this is a copy of a similar article from heroes6.ru? Hello, Irdisu :D
5p74, I don't quite agree. A Warrior is better at winning through brute force, the strength of their creatures, and their stats – that's true. But a Mage has more tactical variability – that's also an advantage in its own way. Usually, games try to balance this, so Warriors and Mages are roughly on the same level (although I usually prefer Mages), but in Heroes 6, the balance is questionable at the moment, and the advantage is mainly with Warriors. Only the Naga hero-mage is better in my opinion, and even then, only thanks to "Tsunami," perhaps.
What kind of tactics, what kind of variability are we talking about in Heroes 1-4? Both Warriors and Mages can learn all the spells, only the Mage gets a small bonus to spell power (although this spell can only be cast once per turn), while the Warrior gets a bonus to the strength of their army, ALL units, of which there can be 5 or 7 in a stack, and at the same time, a Warrior with less magic power and knowledge can use magic just as effectively!
I understand the differences between a Warrior and a Mage in King's Bounty – that's noticeable, but in Heroes, I just feel that the Mage has been clearly shortchanged!

WHAT HAVE YOU SAID?

And would a Warrior (without artifacts) cast learned spells worse, with less damage, higher cost, and shorter duration?
I don't remember the cost of spells depending on the amount of strength and knowledge? I need only +5 strength and knowledge to cast a couple of mass spells on myself. And in general, the larger the map, the more effective the Warrior is.
