It's not that Heroes 5 resembles Disciples 3, but rather that Disciples 3 resembles Heroes 5. Because the fifth installment, in some way, more or less preserved the series' canons, but what they did with the third Disciples...
Excellent argument, but there's a simpler one: Disciples 3 resembles Heroes 5, not the other way around, because Heroes 5 was released before Disciples 3.
