What were your expectations for Heroes 4?

By the way, regarding a combat-ready army without a hero. This aspect in Heroes 4 is perhaps the most realistic. Those who have played this installment for a long time know how easily you can defeat an army – even one controlled by a player – without a hero. And yet, neutrals have the courage to roam the map without commanders, so why are ours any worse? ;)
What did I expect from Heroes 4? I don't remember anymore. But like everyone else, I didn't get what I expected :( . But two years have passed since its release, and I still love this game.
