As I said, I won't be updating version 2.9* anymore, especially since I can't find the source code for 2.98 on my computer.
However, version 3.0 isn't coming out anytime soon, so I've put together a patch for 2.98.

You need to copy the w7_fix_01.dll file into the HiRezData\Common folder.
Ideally, it should fix this bug. Of course, I can't test it myself because everything works fine for me. When creating it, I relied solely on the error report posted above.
By the way, this fix adds HD_CRASH_INFO.TXT generation in HD when the game crashes. So, if the fix doesn't work, at least you can provide me with this HD_CRASH_INFO.TXT.

In any case, I'm waiting for feedback on the results of this fix.
