No, you definitely shouldn't do that, but my post was more directed at you.
Usually, the Mafia is more interested in proving their innocence if someone starts accusing them. An innocent player, on the other hand, doesn't see the point in doing so, because they know they are innocent.

This is quite logical, but not always the case, of course.
