I might be saying something stupid, but I bought not only the second hero but also the third. The Goblins only need one Ring, the others need 2, at best 3. I equipped myself with meat shields, I even equipped myself with ranged meat shields, but he still attacks the main stack. But even if we take into account that I'm a noob and a lol, you're suggesting that I kill the second hero that arrives after a day... with what? Let's say I teleport to a portal, but why not just make it so that there isn't such a fast rush from the overpowered AI?
I replayed the opening game with Hagesh. I entered the battle on the third day (Hagesh's troops: 85 Centaurs, 15 Orcs, 25 Goblins, 1 Druid, after the battle - 70 Centaurs, 3 Orcs, 1 Druid - the core was preserved. During the battle, the AI attacked the Orcs and Goblins twice with the Ring, and once with the Centaurs). The second AI hero arrived in the middle of the second week in my case, but he was unkillable. I distracted him with secondary heroes, Hagesh took the gold mines, the crown with +6 knowledge, and quietly waited for the main city to develop (I wasn't lucky with the combat shouts during the replay - there was no Frightful Howl, and it helps a lot). I took the city with the tear when the AI moved troops out of it, after which the AI didn't pay any attention to this city at all. As a result, at the end of the second week, the gold income was 13,000 per day. I didn't continue playing. The point is to prevent the AI from capturing the Orcish Castle, by distracting the unkillable AI heroes at the beginning with expendable units running around the map. After building up an army, you can combine it with the Elf army from the city with the tear, buying artifacts (there's a shop nearby, and there's plenty of money), and ideally getting Frightful Howl and Horde of Wolves in the combat shouts, and then you can safely enter the battle, but it's better to do it through the castle's defense.
