How to develop through the skill wheel on the path to the ultimate ability

Want a fun trick? It's easier to get the ultimate ability for Necropolis and Academy factions! For Necropolis, just collect the Cloak of Deathly Shadows and 2 Rings of Broken Spirit and equip them (if they're on the map, of course), and use Banshee's Wail during battle. It's a bit harder for Academy – you need to max out all spells to Expert and visit a lot of castles (and if you're lucky, you'll find all the spells there). True, Dark Elves can also get an ultimate ability by conquering 10 castles (Dungeons, of course). That's the trick. :D :D :D :D :D
