You can play unlicensed copies of the game without any problems over the network, including on servers, and I was able to do this even after reinstalling Windows and cleaning the registry, simply by launching the game from the folder; it's surprisingly undemanding. And it runs on any, even the oldest machines, without any FPS drops, no matter how many enemies and effects are on the screen, because it has an excellent engine. The only problem is that the co-op mode is boring; everyone runs through the levels in a race, and you don't even have to try.
