Your assumption is incorrect; I played some Sam game about seven years ago (probably the first one; I even had the disk). Back then, everything was cool with Sam because it was awesome, and you didn't have to do anything except shoot. I played it many times. There were five difficulty levels, and I think I played on the third one at most; I definitely didn't play on the fifth, and it's very unlikely I played on the fourth. And, basically, in that game, you
kill everyone and do nothing but walk forward and click the right mouse button to complete Sam.
Except you don't just walk forward; you go in different directions, away from the crowds of enemies that just charge at you without thinking. It's relaxing for the brain; you can play it, but only when you want to play something simple and mindless. I won't record anything for you; you record it yourself, showing how you "furrow your brow intensely and devise brilliant tactics to overcome the most challenging traps."
