Regarding point 3: now compare the tables, doesn't the fact that the numbers match surprise you? The one I provided was built based on the hypothesis of a binomial distribution (model: cows approach one by one, breathe their 10%, the total is the sum of the breaths).
If I were to speak as a player, I think it would be better to give them an ability like all the other creatures, 20%.
