Favorite characters.

I haven't checked this thread in a while. Should I dust off the Warriors Orochi and Dynasty Warriors 4 discs? I need to think about it. For now, here are some minor updates to the GG characters:

His weapon, by the way, is similar to the one used by Hanzo Hattori in Warriors Orochi, although it's slightly different.

It's a standard kusari-gama, but instead of a ball on the second end, there's another kama.

The charming captain of the pirate ship "May."

May is his ward, and he is the captain of his ship, "Jellyfish." He himself is not a captain, but the leader of pirates with the same name, Jellyfish-pirates.

Now, I'll talk about the characters. Today, I felt like writing about my favorite anime characters, and I'll also touch on some other cartoon characters.

• Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
  • First up is "The Legendary Creator of Gurren-Dan from Jizhi, the embodiment of masculine spirit, the unwavering demonic leader, the Great Kamina!" There's no other way to describe him.
    
    What can I say? Watch the series; it's unlikely anyone won't like it. The main character, who not only fulfilled his dream but also made his dream the dream of the whole world. Did he die? See the picture.
    
  • And right after him, "The Department for the Extermination of Humanity, Commander of the Far Eastern Block, Viral."
    
    A character that I liked from the very beginning. And at the end, when I saw his dream, I was only convinced of the correctness of my conclusions. He follows his strict code of honor, which is also a definite plus. And, of course, in the second part of the series, he fights for humanity inside Gurren in place of the fallen Kamina.
  In general, if you haven't watched it, watch it. I rarely recommend anime, but I can't help but recommend this one.
  
• Fate/Stay Night
  Here, I'll mention a couple of characters.
  • Red Archer/Emiya Shirou, Golden Archer/Gilgamesh
    
    Cool characters. Both are archers who fight with swords, and neither has one specific weapon like the others, but a whole set of different ones. One is completely disillusioned with life and came to the tournament to kill himself in the past, but in the process, he remembers himself in his youth and fights the enemy to the death, saving the heroes (what a paradox, the second time my favorite anime character dies). The other – well, who knows why he came to the tournament :) But his dream remained unfulfilled; the King of Heroes will not get the King of Knights.
  • Lancer/Cuchulainn, Assassin/Sasaki Kojirō
    
    I want to mention these two separately. In the series itself, everyone is a bit crazy, but here are two normal and cool characters. One came to the tournament to fight, and he fought. The other claims that he never existed. And, again, both know what honor is.
  In general, yes, all these characters died.
• Berserk
  Also one of my favorite anime, despite all the dark themes. But my favorite character there is not Guts, but:

    A simple guy who knows how to throw knives :) But in reality, he is very wise and empathetic. He dies...
• Chrono Crusade

    A kind demon, as paradoxical as that sounds. He is forced to remain in the form of a 12-year-old boy, which, in general, is consistent with his character; he is still a child, despite the fact that in the past he defeated the Legion and helped overthrow the Pandemonium. Eh, I can't write briefly about characters. In short, he also died.
• Exosquad/Rescuers of Lieutenant Marsh
  As I said, I'll mention not only anime ;) A great cartoon, I recently rewatched it. As before, my favorite is:
  
  • Bronski
    
    A good-natured pilot of an echo-jet, who loves jokes, beer, and burps :) According to the results of Bronski's psychological testing, the psychologist concluded that he has the soul of an eight-year-old boy, and at the bottom it was scribbled, "Yes, because Bronski ate him." He is alive and well!

Well, that's a funny list. Almost all my favorite anime characters die; it's sad :(
