The principle of sound production is the same as with a whistle flute. There are many varieties of the instrument; I couldn’t find fingerings for mine, so I had to download a tuner program and look for sheet music. The results were surprising - due to the special shape of my copy, holes of different sizes are interchangeable, regardless of their location - there is only a few cents difference, which is small, especially for wind instruments. It produces twelve notes - from E and F sharp in half-tone steps up to E of the next octave. A picture of its appearance is attached; I could not record the sound because the microphone suddenly broke.
