Doesn't it seem a bit strange that "easy" wins are counted in tournaments but not in player ratings? Why do "easy" wins matter in tournaments but aren't reflected in the rating?

What does "easy" win mean? Losing on turn 111 or winning because the opponent didn't show up? If it's a loss on turn 111, then those reports are included in the rating, but if it's a win because the opponent didn't show up, then of course it's not included in the rating. I have many of those, and I've removed them all. The rating should reflect the player's skill, and a technical win doesn't show anything.
