I check the Tavern and see 2 heroes in the red player's line of sight, who appeared while I was hanging around on the main with a Gnoll. I realize that one of them will now get smashed by the same killer opponent with 24 Evil Eyes, 10 Medusas, 11 Minotaurs and a decent number of Troglodytes along with 26 Harpy Hags, the other I will kill, and only Aenain will remain. That's exactly what happens on turn 136.
Turn 137 - nearly a zero-trade, buy everything, and skip the turn. On my turn, the red player attacks, I still don't have a spell book, but there's Mass Haste and a marksman shooter at 100. I see the army and basically think it's GG. But it turns out differently... Alkin just carries, what a legend. 36 Grand Elves take down directly 2 Wyverns :D After that, nothing stops the melee going one way because Alkin's Gorgons are simply invincible up close))
After the battle, I thought I would easily beat Alkin with Grand Elves, since Leon made a mistake, but it wasn't so simple. Those same Lizardmen were hitting incredibly hard (5-7 Grand Elves with a shattered defense) and the infantry needs 2 turns, not counting the flies standing around the Grand Elves, so there were practically no options.
